Bread made according to the authentic German formula has to be definitely included into our special ‘Bread of the World’ collection. The Germans love eating bread as well, so they can boast of variety of recipes, we chose to bake a special one. Our German Bread is a rye-wheat loaf, made with scalded flour and active rye sourdough starter. The German temper of this bread is exactly in addition of grains (pearl semolina, sunflower seed kernels, rye whole-grain flour, rye bran). Malt-barley extract not only enhances the beneficial properties of this bread, but also brings sweetish notes to its final taste.
