We have been baking bread for about 20 years. And we know for sure - Ukrainians love bread. Some people like lard with a slice of rye, some croutons, some toast, some canapés, and we can go on and on, because we are a nation of bread makers and bread lovers.

Practically every Ukrainian has bread in his diet, and "Rumyanets" bread can be added to almost every diet. First of all, a healthy diet, because our breads are "alive". Made with sourdough starter and quality ingredients, they rise and fit with the warmth of our hands. Ukrainians eat bread every day, and if you choose "Rumyanets", we have no right to make a mistake.

  • 2003 The Opening of ‘Rumianets’ Bread Plant

    ‘Rumianets’ Bread Plant was opened in 2003, that was the starting point on our way to success. We started from scratch, building our activity on the principles of high quality and full dedication to baking business. Our modern equipment was imported from Austria and Germany, that immediately allowed us to stand out on the market and produce top-quality breads.

  • 2004 Packaged bread trend

    An important contribution was made by us into bakery industry - in 2004 we started producing packaged breads under the TM ‘Rumianets’. The bread sold in Ukraine until that time was mostly non-cut loaf and with no packaging. Focusing on customers’ safety we were the first to offer a convenient and safe packaging for our products.

  • 2005 Branded retail network development

    The first branded shop was opened in Rivne city (western Ukraine) in 2005. This was the first step to building up of our branded retail network, which later on became one of the most famous and largest in the bakery industry.

  • 2008 Increasing of production capacity

    Since 2008, we have been actively increasing the production capacity, expanding it annually by 15%. We keep working on the development of ‘Rumianets’ brand by introducing new types of products, upgrading the equipment and expanding sales markets. We make sure to meet the needs of our customers and repeated buyers.

  • 2010 Entering national Ukrainian market

    Until 2010, our products could be bought mainly in Rivne, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. In year 2010 we significantly expanded the geography of our activity and entered the national market, enabling the ‘Rumianets’ brand moving fast through Ukraine and increasing our impact on the bakery market.

  • 2011 Automation of the loaf shaping process

    In 2011 the process of loaf shaping was automated, that was a major breakthrough considering the fact that white loaf is our best-seller. Before this moment all the forming process was done exceptionally by hand. Automation enabled us to increase production capacity and maintain the high quality of our bread products.

  • 2012 World baking trends

    Since 2012, we have started closely monitoring world trends in the industry, participating in international exhibitions and bakery trade fairs, such as IBA in Munich, Germany. We are aiming to offer our customers the best possible quality & service. That is the reason for our constant introducing improvements, looking for innovations and implementing them.

  • 2013 Our own logistic warehouse

    Over the last 10 years, we have almost doubled the sales volume of our production. In 2013 there was an obvious need for modern logistics center with a warehouse and vehicles to ensure delivery efficiency of our production. In 2019, an automated line for picking orders was installed, which highly enhanced the efficiency of our logistics process.

  • 2016 Market extension in Odesa

    In 2016, TM Rumianets reached the new milestone by starting the sales of our production in Odesa city (south of Ukraine). This step enabled us to expand our market and give the Odesa residents an opportunity to enjoy our delicious bread and bakery products.

  • 2018 НАССР system implementation

    In 2018, a food safety management system was implemented in full compliance with DSTU ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP principles. With this step we ensured that all our products meet international quality and safety standards.

  • 2019 Expansion of the assortment with fancy breads & confectionery products

    In 2019, we put a lot of efforts in enlargement of our assortment, introducing fancy breads and confectionery products to it. New production line was installed for baking croissants, zavyvanets (rolls) and grissini. ‘Rumianets’ also created the most delicious Zavyvanets in Ukraine, where you find more filling than dough.

  • 2021 Frozen fancy breads & entering the HoReCa segment

    In 2021, a new direction was launched – production of frozen products focusing on the HoReCa segment. We’re aiming to make our delicious bread available in your favourite restaurants and hotels, giving you the opportunity to enjoy freshly-baked hot ‘Rumianets’ products.

  • 2023 Entering the Global market

    We have started exporting our products to European countries. This is a significant milestone for our company! Our goal on the world market is to introduce true Ukrainian taste and quality to people and popularize our Ukrainian bread products!
