Pokrovsky BreadWheat bread

This is a true classic of Ukrainian wheat bread baking. It is made from premium-quality wheat flour and fermented with a live wheat sourdough starter. The sourdough starter brings out a distinct wheat flavor with a gentle yet complex sourness, while giving the crumb an incredibly light and airy texture.

The addition of mustard oil gives the bread a pleasant soft yellow color. Our Pokrovsky Bread is baked in special baking pans, which allows the crust to become evenly golden, thin, and elastic.
